    At Tropical Aesthetics Cairns, we provide a complimentary follow-up appointment two weeks after your treatment to evaluate its effectiveness and ensure your satisfaction.

  • Yes, if your focus is solely on wrinkles, then please select our 'New client consultation' 30 minute appointment offers ample time for both consultation and treatment (if appropriate). As such, there's no need for a specific named Cosmetic named treatment booking.

    However, if you prefer a thorough assessment, wish to explore various treatment options with our Registered Nurse, and need time to deliberate, we suggest scheduling a Cosmetic Consultation. This allows us to discuss your options extensively and book your treatment for a later date if you choose to move forward.

  • To enjoy the best results and to avoid any adverse reactions, it is important to follow your aftercare instructions. I will discuss aftercare with you during your appointment and provide you with a pamphlet to take home.

  • Not suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or those with a muscular or neurological disease (including Bell’s Palsy).

    During your consultation, Registered Nurse Alisha and the DR will discuss any medications that you are taking, as well as any medical conditions that you may have and will discuss your suitability for the treatment.

    If you are unsure if it is suitable for you, the best thing to do is to give the clinic a call.

  • There is no preparation required prior to your treatment. However, we do recommend avoiding:

    Sunburn

    Waxing, bleaching or using hair removal in the treatment area for 24 hours prior to your treatment.

    If you have an active cold sore or skin infection in the treatment area, you’ll need to reschedule your appointment.
